Please note: these Terms and Conditions should be reviewed periodically and updated as needed. Ceri Brown Coaching recommends seeking legal advice to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable consumer and contract law.

1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of the Ceri Brown Coaching website (www.ceribrowncoaching.com) and the purchase of any services or products offered by Ceri Brown Coaching ('we', 'us', 'our').

Ceri Brown Coaching is a sole trader business owned and operated by Ceri Brown, based in South Wales.

Website: www.ceribrowncoaching.com

Email: ceri@ceribrowncoaching.com

By accessing our website, subscribing to our newsletter, completing The Starting Point questionnaire, or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our services

Ceri Brown Coaching offers the following services:

The BeliefPrint Audit

A free five-question questionnaire that you complete online. Upon receipt of your answers, we will record and send you a personal Loom video response within the timeframe stated at the time of submission. This is a complimentary service and does not constitute a coaching relationship or create any obligation on either party.

The Belief Breakthrough Session

A 90-minute one-to-one belief coaching session delivered via Zoom. The session uses our signature Breadcrumb Trail methodology to help you identify and explore the source of a limiting belief. The current investment is £97, though we reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. The price applicable to you is that confirmed at the time of booking.

12 Week Belief Transformation Programme

A twelve week one-to-one coaching programme delivered via Zoom. Full programme details, including session structure, investment, and terms specific to this programme, will be provided upon enquiry and confirmed in writing prior to commencement.

Mind Over Chatter Newsletter

A free weekly email newsletter. By subscribing, you consent to receiving regular emails from Ceri Brown Coaching. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at ceri@ceribrowncoaching.com.

Other services

From time to time we may offer additional services, workshops, talks, or resources. Specific terms applicable to those services will be communicated at the time of purchase or enrolment.

3. Booking and payment

How to book

Coaching sessions and programmes are booked by contacting us directly via email at hello@ceribrown.com. A booking is confirmed only when we have received full payment (or agreed payment terms in writing) and you have received written confirmation from us.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is processed securely via our chosen payment provider. We do not store your payment card details.

Payment plans

Payment plans may be available for longer programmes such as Aluna. Where a payment plan is agreed, the full amount remains due regardless of whether you choose to discontinue the programme. Specific payment plan terms will be confirmed in writing at the time of agreement.

Confirmation

You will receive written confirmation of your booking via email. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this within 48 hours of payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact details you provide are accurate.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling policy

Cancellation by you

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation with more than 48 hours' notice: a full refund will be issued, or the session may be rescheduled at no additional charge.

  • Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice: no refund will be issued. The session may be rescheduled at our discretion, subject to availability.

  • Non-attendance without notice: no refund will be issued and the session will be forfeited.

For multi-session programmes such as Aluna, individual session cancellations are subject to the above policy. Programme cancellations after commencement are subject to the refund policy set out in Section 5.

Rescheduling

We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. We will always do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability. Sessions rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice cannot be guaranteed and are at our discretion.

Cancellation by us

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer you the choice of a full refund or rescheduled session. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of such cancellation.

Extenuating circumstances

We recognise that genuine emergencies occur. If you are unable to attend due to serious illness, bereavement, or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you with compassion and flexibility.

5. Refund policy

Breakthrough Session

A full refund is available if you cancel with more than 48 hours' notice before your scheduled session. No refund is available for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or non-attendance.

Aluna and multi-session programmes

Due to the personalised and time-intensive nature of our programmes:

  • If you wish to withdraw from a programme before it begins, a full refund will be issued provided you notify us in writing at least 7 days before the programme start date.

  • If you withdraw after the programme has commenced, you will be charged for all sessions that have taken place. Any remaining balance for sessions not yet delivered will be refunded.

  • No refund will be issued for sessions that have been delivered, regardless of your satisfaction with the outcome.

Free services

No payment is taken for The Starting Point questionnaire or the Mind Over Chatter newsletter, therefore no refund policy applies.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including a 14-day cooling-off period for services purchased online. However, please note that by requesting that a service commences within this 14-day period, you may waive your right to a full refund. We will make this clear at the time of booking.

6. Coaching disclaimer and limitations

Please read this section carefully.

Nature of coaching

Coaching is a collaborative process designed to support personal and professional development. It is distinct from therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, or any form of medical treatment. Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health condition, psychological disorder, or medical issue.

Not a substitute for professional support

Our services are not a substitute for professional mental health support, medical advice, or any other regulated professional service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, a mental health professional, or an appropriate crisis service.

By engaging our services, you confirm that you are not using coaching as a replacement for professional support that you need, and that you take full responsibility for your own mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Results

We are committed to delivering our services with care, skill, and genuine investment in your progress. However, we cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes. Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, including your own commitment, effort, and personal circumstances. Any testimonials or examples of client experiences shared on our website or social media represent individual results and are not a guarantee of the same outcome for all clients.

Your responsibility

By engaging our services, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, that you are entering into this agreement of your own free will, and that you take full responsibility for the decisions and actions you take as a result of our coaching work together.

7. Confidentiality

We take confidentiality seriously and are committed to maintaining your privacy.

Everything you share within a coaching session or via The Starting Point questionnaire is treated with the utmost confidentiality. We will not disclose the content of your sessions or personal information to any third party without your explicit consent, except in the following circumstances:

  • Where we are required to do so by law.

  • Where we have a genuine concern for your safety or the safety of others - in which case we may be required to contact appropriate services.

  • Where you have provided explicit consent for us to share specific information (for example, a testimonial).

We may use anonymised, non-identifiable insights from our coaching work to inform our content, training, or marketing materials. No personally identifiable information will ever be used without your explicit permission.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Ceri Brown Coaching website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and the Mind Over Chatter newsletter, is the intellectual property of Ceri Brown Coaching and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

Our proprietary methodology, the Breadcrumb Trail, and our framework Uncover. Release. Reclaim. are the intellectual property of Ceri Brown Coaching.

You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or use any of our content or methodology for commercial purposes without our express written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing (such as forwarding a newsletter to a friend) is welcomed and appreciated.

Any resources, materials, or recordings shared with you as part of a coaching programme are for your personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without our written consent.

9. Online sessions and technology

Our coaching sessions are delivered via Zoom. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection, a working device, and a private, comfortable space in which to participate. We are not responsible for any technical issues on your end that affect the quality or delivery of a session.

In the event of a significant technical failure on our end that prevents a session from being delivered, we will offer you a replacement session at no additional charge.

Sessions may not be recorded by either party without the explicit consent of the other.

10. Website use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems.

  • Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.

  • Use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.

We reserve the right to restrict or remove access to our website at any time and for any reason without notice.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites and encourage you to review their policies independently.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ceri Brown Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business opportunity, or emotional distress.

Our total liability to you in connection with our services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

12. Data protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

For full details of how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, and your rights in relation to it, please refer to our Privacy Policy, available at www.ceribrowncoaching.com.

13. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify existing clients by email.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
