- Tell Your Own Brand Story on your first blog post...

Start by exploring why you started your small business in the first place.

Identify your websites purpose and overall objectives. My reason was to help other women market their businesses with websites and content and social media furthering my own business.

What was the vision that shaped your values and your mission?

The first step in creating a website is to identify the overall purpose.

- The objectives that you want to accomplish

- How your website supports your business goals

Additionally

  • sell products offers or services

  • be seen as the expert on certain subjects

  • grow and nurture leads with your email for 1 to 1 services

  • book consultations or specialized services

What does your business stand for and how does it impact the lives of your customers?

Since the early days of the internet, blogs have been a way for business owners to stay connected with their clients. Blogging is a cost-effective marketing strategy.

Introduction:

A Brand is much more than just the type of font suite used, variations of logos for various uses and a colour scheme. All of which support the brand and create a strong sense of connection and recognition with a brand's customers.

There is a lot involved in a well-thought out brand development strategy. Find out more....

If Your brand doesn't include the following – then it’s not true branding. Building a strong brand does not just include re-designing your logo. If it doesn’t involve your strategy, your message and your emotional appeal, along with your visual identity, it's not really total business branding.

It can be a challenge to actually put your finger on what it is that  your business  does and "why" you do it. It's where your business fits into the online landscape of business today. You should include these strategy statements.

This is why your mission statement plays an extremely important part in your strategic planning process -- or it should if you haven't set one up.

Women working in home office

Today's modern businesses have strong brand recall that requires you to show your purpose and /or promise down to the specific emotions you want your customers to feel when they think of you, in your first blog post.

Your Brand Promise

  • What does your service do, or offer and for whom?

Your Brand Values

  • What does your company stand for ex - are you environmentally conscious and do you provide a more sustainable solution to solve a problem? Your values are what makes your company unique...

Brand Goals

  • What does your company accomplish for it's clients. Why should they purchase from you rather than your competitors?

Brand Awareness represents how familiar your target audience is with your brand. Determine your path, decide what to focus on with paid or non paid advertising.

Every single part of our entrepreneurial journey begins as an idea that will only become reality when we show up and bring it into the world . - Carrie Green

Explain your company's product or service offering. You want prospects to understand what your company does This means explaining your offering in basic clear terms in your first blog post.

#1

Before moving forward, take some time to review your business's performance in the last quarter. Identify what worked and what didn't. Look at key metrics such as sales, revenue, customer acquisition cost, churn rate, and website traffic. This analysis will provide insights that guide your next steps.

#2

Once you have set your goals, start planning how you will achieve them. Identify the tasks that will have the biggest impact on reaching your goals and prioritize them. Develop a roadmap for the quarter with key milestones and deadlines to keep yourself on track.

#3

Ensure everyone on your team is working together...even if it's just you! Regularly go over your goals, plans, and progress on a weekly and monthly basis. This will make them (or yourself) feel involved and motivated to contribute to the business's success.
