My Journey: From Exhaustion to Inner Calm and Vitality
My first experience with birth and becoming a mother
In 2006, I moved from Germany to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, after falling in love with my now-husband.
A year later, we welcomed our first child.
I chose to give birth in a remote mountain hut in Oaxaca, far from modern conveniences and surrounded only by the natural beauty and the support of an exceptional midwife.
This decision, guided by prayer and listening to my intuition, led to a birth experience where I felt genuinely heard, respected, and empowered. The process was both physically demanding and deeply fulfilling, culminating in the birth of my 11-pound son after 36 hours of labor.
However, this powerful start was overshadowed almost immediately after birth. As I transitioned into parenting, I allowed external advice to overshadow my instincts.
Despite my earlier empowering birth experience, I followed rigid schedules for feeding and sleep training, influenced by well-meaning friends and societal expectations. This led to unnecessary distress for both my baby and me.
This experience teached me a critical lesson: while trusting your own intuition and body wisdom for choosing the environment of birth is important, so is trusting one’s own intuition throughout the parenting journey.
This realization was pivotal and laid the foundation for my work as a Doula.

From struggle in early motherhood to deep healing
My reality of early motherhood was far from easy and filled with challenges.
I faced deep physical exhaustion, health issues, and marital tensions that left me feeling depleted, struggling to enjoy my children and be the relaxed and joyful mother I wanted to be.
As the years went on, my struggles only deepened.
My fear of confronting the problems in my marriage, driven by the fear of losing everything, resulted in unresolved conflicts, which surfaced as anger outburst and frustration in my parenting.
By the time I was postpartum with my third child, I had reached a breaking point. I was drained on all levels; even washing my dishes felt like an insurmountable mountain I could no longer climb. The emotional stress I was under because of all the unresolved issues, left me feeling utterly depleted, exausted and overwhelmed.
I realized my struggles went beyond the daily stress of sleep deprived nights and the demands of mothering three little kids; they were tied to deeper, unresolved wounds from my past.
My inner child’s unmet needs and my avoidance of addressing my problems and fears kept me from finding the inner peace and security I so desperately needed.
It was only through deep inner healing that I began to confront these core wounds.
Learning to regulate and guide my nervous system to a new baseline of inner safety and rest and work through emotional trauma gave me the strength to sit with my truth, speak it, and make necessary changes in my life.
This transformation led to falling in love with myself, seeing myself with eyes of compassion, which lead to so much softness and deep empathy with my kids. I was able to let go of being so hard on myself. It gave me calm, inner clarity and allowed me to restore my engery and vitality and find joy in my daily live with my children.
Today, at 42, I wake up full of inspiration and energy, even though my toddler often still wakes up several times at night. My marriage and healthy body have become sources of strength.
My own healing story has given me a deep understanding of the profound joys, struggles, and challenges women experience in motherhood. This personal insight, combined with my professional training as a Birth Doula and Advanced Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping Coach, has enabled me to create the framework I use today to guide women on their journey toward relaxed and joyful motherhood.

Biography Work & Inner Child Healing: Exploring personal history and healing unresolved wounds, creating new beliefs, deeper self-awareness and connection to one’s authentic self.
Relationship Communication & Body Wisdom: Teaching communication skills and tools to cultivate a healthy relationship and tuning into bodily sensations as a guide that connects you to your intuition and inner wisdom.
The journey into parenthood is often a bumpy one, confronting us with our shadows, inner wounds, and parts of ourselves we didn’t even know existed.
Suddenly, the unresolved aspects of our lives become magnified, inviting us to heal, release, and connect more deeply with who we truly are.
We’re called to let go of old baggage and step into this new chapter feeling lighter and more connected.
This process can feel scary—we may feel like we’re losing ourselves or failing.
But with the right support, where we’re seen and held in a safe space, the healing we undergo transforms us and breaks the cycle of passing on the same wounds to our children.
My journey has shown me that it’s possible to move from depletion and overwhelm to a life filled with energy, joy, and deep connection with your children and partner. My mission is to guide you to the same transformation.

Have you ever asked friends about post-baby sex life, only to be met with responses like "Sex? What's that?"
As a mom of four, I understand the joys, the exhaustion, and everything in between. I have found myself in the place of feeling drained and disconnected from my sensuality and sexuality.
But a fundamental truth exists: Our Sexuality is connecting us to our vitality and is the glue of relationships. It's a gift that we are meant to enjoy and take care of and which definitely isn't meant to be another point on our to-do list. Staying connected in love is the greatest gift we can give our children, providing them with deep security and happiness.
One of the big obstacles for keeping the flame burning is the high stress levels we are under, caused by our own and societal expectations for perfection, leading to exhaustion. Biologically, our bodies aren't wired for sex during highly stressful times. When cortisol runs high, our sex hormones take a backseat, making it difficult to feel connected to our sensuality.
How do we reclaim pleasure, play, intimacy and the space to let go and enjoy each other?
The key lies in regulating our nervous system, transitioning from a state of stress to one of relaxation and safety. By grounding ourselves, shedding our masks, and honestly expressing our desires and struggles, we create space for connection and intimacy.
