CLASSES AT PLAY AND PAUSE YOGA

Our classes are designed for real life.

To feel awake, grounded, and more at ease in your body.
Each 30–60 minute session blends movement, breath, and restorative practices to calm the nervous system and build resilience.

Summer Yoga in the Park

Summer in Canada is a special season—one that invites us outdoors to move, connect, and enjoy the abundance of nature before the cooler months return.

These classes are inspired by the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, which teach us that living in harmony with the seasons supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. Summer carries the energy of warmth, vitality, growth, and joy. Practicing outdoors allows us to connect with these qualities directly through movement, breath, and time spent in nature.

Together we will move, stretch, strengthen, breathe, and rest beneath the open sky. Expect a balanced practice that combines mindful movement, mobility, strength, relaxation, and moments of reflection. Each class is designed to help you feel more energized, grounded, and connected—to yourself, to nature, and to the community around you.

These classes are an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of summer, feel the grass beneath your feet, listen to the birds, meet like-minded people, and create meaningful moments of connection in a welcoming and supportive environment.

All levels are welcome, including beginners.

Restorative Yoga – in person

Mondays: 7:30–8:30 PM

Location: Private home studio, Avenue Road & Lawrence area
Exact address provided upon registration

A deeply nourishing, prop-supported practice designed to help your body soften, release tension, and return to balance.

Unlike a movement-based yoga class, restorative yoga invites stillness. Using bolsters, blankets, and blocks, the body is fully supported in gentle shapes that calm the nervous system, ease muscle tension, and promote deep rest.

This practice can help reduce stress, improve sleep, and create a greater sense of ease in both body and mind.

Held in a small, intimate home studio setting, this class is ideal for anyone seeking a gentler, therapeutic approach to yoga and nervous system support.

I believe practice is about connection - not perfection.

I’ve been teaching for over a decade, and as a human, I’ll admit: I don’t love being recorded. That’s why most of my videos are simply real classes I’ve taught, shared as they are. The sound or camera angle may not always be perfect, but the quality of the practice is something I deeply trust.

If you’d like to get a feel for my style and see if it resonates with you, I invite you to explore some of my free classes on YouTube. I’ve recorded over 200 classes through the years - only a few are available publicly, and once we get to know each other, I’ll be happy to share more with you.

Or, if you’d like to begin with something more guided, join my 3-Day Free Meditation Challenge - a gentle way to pause, breathe, and reset. Each day you’ll receive a recorded practice and a simple workbook to help you reflect and integrate the experience.

Hi Andrijana, I wanted to let you know how fortunate I feel I was to have our paths cross at Healing in the Park these past few months. I have been practicing yoga for a number of years now, but I always enjoy the opportunity to meet a new yoga instructor and participate in their classes. The classes always included a warm up for the joints to reduce the chance of strain, the flows were gently vigorous but kept us moving, your cuing was good reminder and kept us safe, your voice was soothing and encouraging and playful all at the same time. We used props when it was appropriate and they were a nice compliment to the class. I felt I was a better person at the end of each session and looked forward to the next meeting. Thanks again for enriching my yoga practice.
