What are the benefits of netwalking?

Promotes physical activity and health:

Walking is a low-impact exercise that can help improve cardiovascular health, boost metabolism, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Netwalking provides an opportunity to get moving and stay active while also enjoying the outdoors and exploring new places. Being outside in the natural world also reduces stress and

improves mental wellbeing:

Walking in nature has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, boost mood, and improve cognitive function. Net walking can help us clear our minds, reduce distractions, and focus on the present moment, leading to improved mental clarity and wellbeing.

Connections and networking:

Net walking allows us to meet new people and build relationships in a relaxed and informal setting. Walking side by side with others can create a sense of camaraderie and support, leading to valuable connections and networking opportunities. When the weather is not playing ball we connect in our local networking cafes.

Boosts creativity and problem-solving:

Walking has been shown to increase creativity and problem-solving abilities. Net walking provides an opportunity to brainstorm new ideas, gain fresh perspectives, and find innovative solutions to our entrepreneur challenges!

.

Increases productivity and energy levels:

Taking a break from work to go netwalking can actually increase productivity and energy levels. By getting up and moving, we can improve blood flow, increase oxygen levels, and give our brains a much-needed break, leading to increased focus and productivity when we return to work

Overall, netwalking is a fantastic way to promote physical health, mental wellbeing, social connections, creativity, and productivity. Whether you're looking to meet new people, clear your mind, or get some exercise, netwalking is a great option that offers a multitude of benefits for our overall health, wellbeing and business.

Martina Mula

I've come along to about 6 Netwalking walks now, on a monthly basis, and I'm hooked! Andrea is a superb host making one feel very welcome and included. It's great to meet like minded people, some new, some returning and we always have such interesting chats about our lives and businesses, and we get to talk though our self employment wins and worries to fellow small business owners in similar situations. I love the social side of it and the walk through nature is the icing on the cake!

Abigail Bury - Textile Designer

I have been Netwalking with the Creative Wellbeing Circle for about a year now and it has been brilliant. As a jeweller my working day is most often spent by myself, and so it is a joy to spend time outside and going for a beautiful walk with other self-employed ladies, talking about our businesses, discussing our experiences and supporting each other. Every time I take part, I come away feeling that I have learned something, made new useful and interesting connections, and I feel more positive and relaxed about my way ahead. Each session is very well thought out, they take place at beautiful and inspiring venues. Careful thought has been given to the parking, the terrain and the weather, and in fact everything that needs to be thought about!Being outside and in the fresh air and walking and talking is the best way to network and these are the best people to go for a netwalk with! I always really look forward to it and I would thoroughly recommend that you give it a go.

Nicky Kelsey - NCK Jewellery

"Thank you so much for this morning. I really enjoyed the walk. It was lovely to meet and talk with some of you, and to enjoy scenery and the kite that flew above! Looking forward to doing this again.
