Become Who You're Meant To Be

About

Hi, I'm Christina, a physiotherapist, a yoga and mindfulness teacher and a mind-body coach.

Over the years working with people, I’ve seen how separating physical and emotional health can leave one feeling only partially healed. My work bridges this gap through a trauma-informed, somatic approach that honours the deep connection between body and mind. Drawing on my professional experience, yoga and mindfulness, and psycho-spiritual growth, I support individuals with chronic pain and anxiety to gently release blockages, restore balance, and reconnect with their sense of purpose and wellbeing.

Mission

My mission is to support people living with persistent pain and anxiety to relate differently to their body, so change can happen without force or fear; valuing safety, awareness, and the body’s own capacity to adapt.

How I work

My work is grounded in a nervous system–informed mind–body approach to persistent symptoms such as pain and anxiety.

Many people I work with have done everything “right” medically.
Investigations are normal or treatment has reached its limits, yet pain, tension, or other symptoms continue.

In these cases, the problem is often not ongoing tissue damage, but a nervous system that remains in protection.

This approach focuses on how the body responds to perceived threat, and how safety can be gradually restored so change becomes possible.

The framework I work from is simple and intentional:

1. Safety before change

Nothing meaningful shifts while the nervous system feels under threat.
Before trying to fix or improve symptoms, we work on reducing fear, pressure, and internal demand.

A sense of safety is not assumed. It’s built.

2. Awareness before control

Rather than trying to manage, override, or suppress symptoms, we develop the ability to notice bodily sensations with curiosity and clarity.

This helps rebuild trust in the body and reduces the need for constant vigilance.

3. Movement as communication, not correction

Movement is used gently and mindfully, not to push, stretch, or force change.

Instead, movement becomes a way for the nervous system to experience safety, choice, and adaptability again.

This approach does not replace medical care.
It adds another layer of support for people whose symptoms persist despite appropriate treatment.

It’s a slower, relational process focused on listening to the body, rather than fighting it.
