About Empowering Literacy

Confidence for adults, success for children.

At Empowering Literacy, I believe every child deserves the chance to become a confident reader and writer. My mission is to make literacy learning simple, joyful, and accessible by equipping adults with the tools and confidence they need to guide children's success.

About Me

Hi, I'm Jacque, founder of Empowering Literacy.

I'm on a mission to make foundational reading and writing accessible by equipping adults with the tools and confidence to help children develop strong literacy skills.

After 16 years of teaching, I've seen many adults feeling unsure about how to help children learn to read and write, and I want to change that. Over the years, I've seen incredible progress in my students as they've grown in confidence and ability. Those experiences have taught me so much, and now I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned so others can help the children they work with experience the same success.

Through practical strategies, easy to follow resources, and a supportive community. I'm here to make literacy feel simple, joyful, and achievable for everyone.

Because every child deserves the chance to feel confident, capable, and excited about learning.
